ANNOUNCEMENT FORM

Today’s Date: Wednesday, March 13th , 2024

 

Good morning, Harry Miller Blue Bears!

Yearbooks are now on sale on the Josten’s website (Jostens.com) under Harry Miller Middle. The cost is $30 and order yours today, do not delay!  They are only sold for a limited time.

Tomorrow is the social from 6 to 8 p.m. The ticket sales closed at midnight last night and we are looking forward to this tomorrow evening.

Athletic announcements:

The JV girls team has been chosen. Thank you to all the girls that tired out. It really was a hard decision for the coaches to narrow it down. The list has been posted and the first team practice will be Monday, at 6pm. 


 

Today the varsity boys and girls teams will practice after school until 4:45.


 

The JV boys volleyball tryouts will continue tomorrow from 3:15 - 4:30 for everyone who attended yesterday and anyone who was unable to attend. 


 

All basketball players can return their clean uniforms to Mrs. Throop.


 

The annual basketball 2Ball shooting competition is back and will take place at lunch time over the coming weeks. The grade 7 and 8 students will remember it from last year. grade 6 students will get an overview of this in phys ed class this week. If you are interested in competing, find a partner from your grade, and sign up on the sports board on the correct grade level sheet.

 

 

Band and Choir announcements

Wednesday: Choir 1st half of lunch followed by trumpet rehearsal 2nd half.

Tomorrow there are no rehearsals.

On Friday: Low brass rehearsal 2nd half of lunch.

 

This week:

Tomorrow is March 14th and that is Pi Day. We will have more Pi day trivia and we will have a chance for you to win a large pie to take home for supper tomorrow! Yum!

Today’s trivia: Pi is the 16th letter in what alphabet?

Friday you can dress in green as Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day!
